Well, I liked Broken Sword 1 and 2, they are great.
The quest for glory series, especially the 4th, kings quest series.
Escape from monkey island is also fun.
But there are a lot more... |

Ebonheart and Caldera. I'm all for the Imperial archetecture. Second favorite is Balmora, then Ald'ruhn for the buildings and people. I hate the land there.

I only played the first. The story was very good and the characters too, but it was very easy and very linear.

believe me I was totally overturned by the bad action Gothic provided, even though it was not as much as, let's say Baldur's Gate, which provides a lot more action.
