Having played NWN extensively, I'd have to say TOEE isn't as good. However, it comes awfully close.

and also, TOEE and NWN are so very different types of games.

TOEE is more of a RPG turned com ...

Never thought I'd say this about a 2d rpg, but the gfx are some of the best i've ever seen in a game!

Seems so far like an awesome game.

How do u walk in this game btw? No matter what movement ...

I've noticed in BG2 that the music begins to play only after about 2-3mins in each scene, but by that stage I'd exit to some other area.

Is there any way to get the music to start playing as soon ...

Im more tha happy w/ the level of character detail in BG2. Sure, it's nothing coimpared to neverwinter, but it's a sacrificie i'm willing to make for a 200% more detailed gameowlrd and story

I originally thought 2D RPG's were crap, and was a 3d freak after playing the likes of Gothic 2 etc.

However, I can tell you, no 3D rpg of current comes close to the lelvel of detail and gameplay a ...

Does that mod also "upagrade" BG1 to BG2's infinity engine, or does it simply allow you to play BG1 and BG2 as one continuous game?

BG2 is what made Bioware famous and sold this NWN junk (no offense NWN fans out there)

Anyway, you should definitely get BG2 and its expansion Throne of Bhaal.

Lionheart by a lot. After all, BG2 is what... 3 to 5 years old?

Actually, I've been playin Lionheart and have seen a few videos of BG2. The animation in Lionheart is very robot like and unrealisti ...

with the patches U9 is nearly flawless.

The only problem i had with this game was the absolutely abysmal voice acting. Just play without the voices.

I never got a chance to play Baldur's Gate 2: Shadows of Amn, but i've been playin Neverwinter Nights and Shadows of Undrentide to death,

Was Baldur's Gate II better than NWN? Which was a longer RP ...
