the Bard was put in purely for the Horn of Prometheus (to make battles vs tons of small critters easier)...Never heard of this instrument before. Perhaps you mean the Infernal Horn, which casts nucle ... |

i'm trying this party makeup to see if being ranged makes the battles easier, since most enemies are ranged, and i'm tired of having to move close to them while they shoot the lights out of me

Sounds like a good party.
You are trying to max critical kill count, so tell us how often your party actually makes a cricital hit.

Not on the same wall as the safe, on the right wall (turn 90 degrees to your right so the fake wall is behind you). There's a "half-column" in the middle of that wall with a little slot in it.

You're in the right spot-- by the fake wall in the king's room. If the fake wall is on your left, the "insert ticket here" slot will be on your right, with the "safe" in front of you.
