I love the autoscaling in Oblivion. I find the fact that after the main quest the game is still a challenge a reason why I still play. Would be a waste of money if I became uber at the end of the main ...

I had the same experience. I cranked the resolution up from 1024x768 to 1600x1200 and couldnt tell the difference in framerate. Suffice to say I'm running it at this resolution from now on. Seeing Obl ...

If they went to the UK for the voiceovers, why are they all american (bar one actually the map maker).

I agree with the point about the voice over (why dont they pop over to the UK and get some actors to do the voiceovers - certainly there is a wealth of actors here who would do it for a nominal fee).

I think Peter is a PC bloke at heart anyway and feels a degree of loyalty to the userbase. I think he knows that PC players will really engage with it and probably feels it should be something shared ...
