Having looked at the Forum here and the voting for the game it appears that two games exist. One that rates 8 to 10 out of 10 and another which is 1 to 3 out of ten. Why so extreme?

I think that what helps to keep it fresh is the mods produced by the community. Just finished playing for the nth time with the Tortured Souls mod plus odds & sods. In my top 5.

In it's day it was excellent and I remember playing it to death (along with MM VI) at the time. Now - it's good for nostalgia but it's really a "dungeon crawl" with the party being devoid of personal ...
