did you installed the patch on a wndows XP system?
Because then you haveto make sure you install the patch with administrator rights. because it's possible not everythng was copied to your harddisk |

I couldn't run the test in Direct3D also.
But this was only in the test
try to play the game in de direct 3D mode by skipping the test.
Did you installed the latest 1.34A patch? |

but you could also give it to the orc ofcours. |

the name of the axe is called "Slasher" even in the german version of the game.
to know wich axe is the wright one. you have to indentify them first in the village.
or the slasher axe is the only a ... |

if you encounter freezes. you computer don't show the cutscene that soposes to appear.
you can momentarly switch your direct 3D to softwaremode.
this helped alot of gamers.

this sounds a bit stupid,
but have you tried to push the ALT botton. it highlights all the items you can pick up.
hold the ALT button and clike on the manuscript.
if this doesn't work
