I assume you updated _ALL_ drivers and read the FAQ.
You could disable DMA mode. Or get a tool to slow your CD-ROM down. Or borrow the other guy´s CD-ROM for the installation.

I have a big problem while installing gothic2, every time when it cames to file textures.vsd(i think) then ocurres some I/O error because of bad installation media. I tried to copy cd2 to hard disk bu ...
