If the new consoles would offer wireless keyboard and mouse support, an upgradeable cpu/vpu/memory, and an open development environment, then yes, PC games would be dead. But I won't hold my breath.

I took one of the original screenshots and compressed it from 259k down to 64k using a 20% jpeg quality level... and it was still very sharp and detailed. So, I don't think you can blame image compr ...

I've noticed the same thing about Project Gotham Racing 3 for the XBox360. The early screenshots were amazing:

I'm not a fan of Everquest, or any MMORPG, but I might actually pick this one up. The graphics are impressive, I just hope the gameplay is as well.
