Sometimes it is a fine line between RPGs and Adventure games. The King's Quest series was close to a RPG (closer than Diablo is). I like the idea of going off and doing my own thing. Betrayal at Antar ... |

I will follow the story line at first. Then after I get "known" in the game I will go off on my own for a while. I understand this is an "extremely" non-linear game

I dropped my ore in the deserted room to the north of the arena and, it sure surprised me; it was still there (after I got beat up). Thanks for the tip

I just go outside in forest area and kill animals. They seem to respawn.

If I remember correctly, there are a lot of keys in the game. You do have to have the correct one to open a door. Just having a key doesn't mean anything

I liked the Krondor games; but the death blow was Betrayal at Antara. The game was to linear and it was over before you knew it. It was a big rip-off
