I can fully understand the editorial team's reservations at trying this out. And I agree that the news comments are under-utilised (though Corwin makes a good point on that). But perhaps there's anoth ... |

Ah, but you see these are more than just 'opinions'. These are touted as 'reviews'. If you 'review' something, then you have a *responsibility* - to play the game properly, to know what you're talking ... |

Since RPGdot provides links to so many game reviews by so many sites, maybe we should have some kind of RPGdot user system which reflected which reviews from which sites we liked (eg thoughtful, matur ... |

Yes, KOTOR.
It's an adventure - it's as much an RPG as the Space-Quest games. You could choose what order you go to which planet do do your tasks in SP4 (or 5, can't remember) as well. *This is not ... |

It's a good adventure. I feel it's simply too linear and restrictive to be called an RPG. And it's definitely overrated - a lot of simple, silly puzzles and quests, simple combat (exactly as Dhruin de ... |

Dhruin, you make perfectly valid observations, but I think the point being raised by MageofFire is more subtle. No-one - Mage, I, or anyone else - is saying that action-rpgs or hacknslash or whateve ... |

I agree with MageofFire's original post. The appropriation of terms like RPG by monolithic commercial interests and the dumbing down of the concept of role playing, to the point where hack'n'slash rub ... |

That's right. The voice acting in G2 is excellent. Much better than the norm. It's just because it's American voices that people are complaining. And to a certain extent i don't blame them for that - ... |

i'd be more than happy for the add-on to be sold with English subtitles as an option. It would actually be better than American voices - it'd be kind of like being in a Werner Herzog movie or somethin ... |
