glad to know my prob isn't XP-related, (OS=XP, athlon1800, Geforce1ddr, 256ddram) though I hate the fact that I'm no closer to a solution. all the reviews are driving me mad! I wanna play the darn gam ...

I installed MM9 yesterday , had much fun choosing my characters , looking back at day of the destroyer , but when I started the game, it never left the loading-sequence ...
