| Hmmm. I remember playing the original BG in both EAX and regular sound and the only real difference I can remember was that their was a nice reverb effect in caves and somesuch when characters talked. |

I enjoyed it but not as much as the original.
It suffered too much from trying to be a linear dungeon hack (IWD), a puzzle based adventure game (PST) and an epic, sweeping CRPG (BG) all at the same ... |

I see Baldur's Gate is missing from your list...maybe you should include it before you claim victory for Planescape, which in my opinion, for a game, was a damn fine book.

I have to say at this stage I prefer DS over D2.
