Well we may have different ideas about what constitutes a boring and tedious battle, but in my mind RoA 2 was the worst in this regard. Just getting from town A to town B had an extremely good chance ...

Well it's also worth noting that really very few of the things people spend gold on are in any way a necesity for playing or enjoying the game. Yes you can spend gold to buy a shiny new magic sword, b ...

Well MMORPGs are designed to be played over the course of several years, so that wouldn't exactly work if everything were handed to you on a silver platter. It's actually a far greater problem when a ...

Hmm....once again I have to strongly disagree with Vogal on this. He may be correct that there are a lot of obnoxious people on MMORPGs, but they don't hold a candle to the gold farmers. The gold farm ...

hehe well the boring thing in Baldur's gate shows perhaps one of the biggest obstacles in RPGs in general.....and that's the fact that the average fight with wandering monsters has the potential to be ...

Hmm....different experiences I guess. I found difficult fights in RoA to be reasonably fun and tactical (although no more so then most other decent TB games). But the random grunt fights in RoA were p ...

Well there are plenty of turn based RPGS that are fun, although it's fair to say that most of them don't make it to the main stream. I think the real problem are the game mechanics of RoA, which might ...

I've had 2 more crashes over about an hour or so of gameplay. One of them was severe enough that I had to restart my machine.

It's unfortunate because it looks like this could be a really good game ...

Hmm.....interesting. So it seems like they are trying to put more emphasis on the story and skill based interaction while speeding up/putting less emphasis on combat. I always thought the combat in Ro ...
