seem to be stuck, got the egg, did all the quests leading to rm 45 magically sealed area cannot cast dispel field, says I do not have the skills,,,

at the level after enchanting the sword, trying to dispel field in rm 45, not working, saying that I do not have the skills, have tried extra rings, are there extra dispel fields scrolls around?
