I have to agree with Val on this... (Excellent write up, BTW)... The game, like the Diablo series, may contain RPG elements... but it's more like a juice flavored drink that contains 10% 'real juice' ...

Latest PriceWatch pricing shows the AMD 1800+ at $102 US... The Pentium 2.0 Ghz...(arguably the same performance) at $319.... Still about $200 different... Which I'd rather pocket than spend on the Ev ...

Thanks for the at-length post... It makes total sense... and I'd suspected that there was a weighting factor in the overall way that stats were distributed... which explains the behavior I've been see ...

1) There is no distinction between walking and running... The characters simply move to the spot on the ground that you click... There is only one 'speed' at which they do this...

Keep in mind that if they run away... they will heal quite rapidly... Not to full health in 1 minute or anything... but you can watch their health increase... so hunting them down is good... Though ev ...
