| One other possibility is that the Safedisc copy protection doesn't play nice with certain CD drives. That was supposed to be fixed with the final patch, IIRC, but perhaps that's something to look int ... |

Well, you're right about that, because Sir-Tech is out of business for all practical purposes.

the game is patched and with the latest card drivers. i also have tried every combination of graphics and sound in the options....
JA2 was also a pain the ass to get it to play. i really doubt that ... |
