eh, first time played NotR as mage. Figures it's a bug of some sort though, I guess it was beginners luck LOL.

There are several other quests that go away if you don't do them within a couple of chapters but most are minor. A couple you don't even get experience for so, no matter.

| You don't have to face ANY orcs. They can be avoided. You can get better armor at the castle in VoM. There's a path on your left as you head into the pass, it avoids the orcs all together. |
