I tried turning all the sounds off, 'cause i figured that the problem lies in the speech. It didn't work; the game crashed on the same spot and showed me this error message:

| I've got a Sound Blaster 128PCI sound-card. I couldn't install it to the default directory, because I don't have enough disk space on drive C: . Also my harddrive is too small for a 1-2 gb swap-file. |
