After a few quiet weeks, the Star Wars Galaxies site has been updated with multiple newsbits. Among them, an announcement of double experience points over the holidays:
Greetings!

We will be enabling Double XP again for the holidays from Thursday, December 22nd through Tuesday, January 3rd.

Happy Holidays!

Also announced, several player-sponsored events in celebration of the holidays.
Below you will find a list of Player Events that are celebrating holidays on many servers. If you do not see an event listed that you know is happening or you have one of your own you would like to get added please email starwars@soe.sony.com with "Holiday Event" in the subject!
