Next Level Gaming has whipped up a review of Primal's and Strategy First's fantasy RPG 'The I of the Dragon'. Rating: 75%.
You get to pick from three different dragons, a magician, fire-breather or necromancer. Each type of dragon has different weights to its stats when you level up, thereby shifting the beast’s natural stats towards a specific path. The Magic inclined dragon has ice breath that does little damage but stops enemies in their tracks, allowing you to charge up a spell and blow the helpless enemies away. The Necromancer Dragon has the ability to heal itself and cast spells to summon others to its cause, not only adding extra fire-power to your arsenal but can also be useful as cannon-fodder. Finally the Fire-Breathing dragon has the highest attack power and his spells deal out the most damage, but also take the longest to charge. Once you have selected your dragon, the game starts out much like all other games of this style. The area you are in is a relatively safe one, with a few scattered monsters that are more about teaching you how to control your character than about posing an obvious threat.
