Alcatraz.

On Tuesday I received a strange email. The communication informed me that Lord Recluse invited me, Dave White, to visit him on Alcatraz. Who was I, as a member of the press, to turn down a mysterious invitation from such a talked-about villain?

My party arrived at Pier 39 to begin our journey to the island known as the Rock. Sean Fish, Senior Designer from Cryptic, welcomed us aboard the ferry and explained exactly why we were heading to Alcatraz. Apparently Lord Recluse and his band of merry villains known as Arachnos were holed up at Alcatraz, making it their temporary base of operations. Indeed, they were ready to announce to the world some very important news about future world domination! Clearly there were to be announcements of incredible importance revealed tonight, judging by the many notables aboard, including Cryptic's Jack Emmert and Zeb Cook, not to mention NCSoft U.S. President Robert Garriott. Also aboard was City of Heroes CCG designer Dave Williams and comic book author Mark Wade.
