FileFront has an interview with Simutonics' Mike Paddock to talk about 'Hero's Journey':
Q: For those readers who haven’t heard of Hero’s Journey, could you give a basic overview of the game?

A: Hero’s Journey is an online fantasy environment where players take on the roles of true heroes. These heroes go on epic adventures reshaping the social and political environments around them. The journey that each hero takes is unique, but they will all leave an impact on the history of the world. It is a game where character customization reigns supreme, social mechanics abound, and fun game play is the key phrase in every design decision we make.

On a less rhetorical note, Hero’s Journey is a massively multiplayer graphical role-playing game where you get together with friends and kill a lot of rampaging Ukar, defeat the insidious Lightless, and vanquish the trans-dimensional demons known as the Rakshaal. While doing this, you get to advance your character’s abilities, customize his/her equipment, and participate in the most socially rich game ever built.
