I honeslty gave this game a shot, but after hours of mindlesly walking around waiting or the fun to begin i realized it was never going to happen. In this game you where either a god who has been playing for over a year or a level 1 noob. |

I am sorry to say this, but this game has gone from old school quirky, unique, and surprisingly fun after spending a long time figuring it out, to downright nasty. I played this game since it was in Beta.
The mages have yet to get all the spells that are advertised in the game guide.
They update[nerf] frequently. However, with every bug fix or added good feature they create by design or lack of design even more hinderances. As an example; They recently tied the dexterity stat to AC. The more 'dex' you had the better your armor class. Sounds great right?
LOL...Not so fast young rpg'er. For with this update comes an unbalancing that allows monsters to hit harder, move faster, and kill you better. Then to top it off, they put in a delay, 2 years after beta, for the healing potions so that potions can not heal you faster than you are being hurt.
????
Do Not Waste Your Money On This One... As a matter of fact, if you see NC Soft, NC Interactive, Lord British, Destination Games, richard garriott or his brother robert, close the webpage and look for a game where you are treated like a customer and not a sucker.
Lord British might think he has his finger on the pulse of the MMORPG market but quite frankly his fingers are probably too busy digging into someones wallet for his next paycheck. |
