Their rating is a "thumbs down", and why - that's in their conclusion:     Though it may not be fair to compare Underlight to titles like EverQuest and Dark Age of Camelot, it’s almost impossible not to. Although the client is a free download, the monthly fees are almost identical to these higher end titles. While Underlight seemingly trades slick eye candy for a world that thrives on true human interaction, to my mind that is a copout. Surely, Underlight could be more up-to-date without sacrificing its unique philosophy. That being said, Underlight is still a vibrant online world full of gamers who obviously love it. With all the alternatives out there, however, I can’t recommend it to those who are looking for a new online gaming experience. Leave this one on the shelf and keep your eye on the Top 10 if you’re in the market for a new RPG world to try.
