Warhammer Age of Reckoning, affectionately called WAR, will take place in a whole new time period and completely new setting from Games Workshops current material. This will ultimately allow the developers more freedom in creating content that is tailor-made for the game without worrying about contradicting existing Games Workshop material. Yet despite taking place in a entirely new setting, Mythic will be drawing on all the Warhammer fantasy material no matter whether it comes from the Warhammer Fantasy Battles or Warhammer Fantasy Role-play.
