Players who enter the world of Priest can choose to join Isaac's Templars or Temozarela's Heretics, each of which will have a variety of classes, weapons and skills unique to them. During my demonstration, I was shown one character playing a female Templar. She was wearing what looked the remnants of a Union Army uniform duded up with a variety of mystical symbols and sported a six shooter that shot bolts of magical energy. The other character was an ugly Heretic who resembled his master in that he bore the ragged remnants of angel wings on his back and had a primitive gatling gun fused to his arm. According to the developers, each character's appearance will be completely customizable, including facial features, clothing and equipment. Heretics will have a special appearance trait where certain skills (such as the aforementioned Gatling gun) will increase their abilities while drastically and permanently altering their appearance.
