Nearly missed this, but it appears that popular rogue-like RPG FATE has had an update which addresses some of the concerns people have with games from Wild Tangent. It's quite short, so here is the full text.

Many of you have had questions about the way our games are designed, questions that we've tried to answer. In particular, a few concerns were raised, specifically about where and how WildTangent games like Fate are installed.

I'm posting this announcment to let you all know that we've just recently updated Fate, available at http://www.wildgames.com, to include some of our recent software improvements. We've changed the way the game and it's components install, so that you shouldn't have to worry about seeing quite so many registry entries, and that should cut down on any problems you might be having with anti-spyware programs misidentifying Fate as spyware.

Unfortunately, this new version still doesn't give you the option to install the game where you like, but I'm hopeful that we'll be able to release another update soon.

In the mean time, if you'd like to install this new version, you should simply be able to install it from http://www.wildgames.com, by simply redownloading and reinstalling the copy of Fate on that site.[/url]
