It's hard to say how or why some of these games are successful while others quickly find their way into the bargain bin. Basing the action and controls off of Diablo 2 should give Space Hack an instant familiarity that will help it find an audience. It isn't scheduled to be released until the middle of next year, so the developers at Rebelmind still have plenty of time to perfect the game and make it something worth purchasing. At this stage it's impossible to tell if Space Hack will be one of the rare successful Diablo 2 clones. If original ideas, great looking environments, and tried and true hack and slash game play mechanics are what these games are judged by, then Space Hack looks like it can be a title to keep your eyes on.
