GenCon 2005 is the first GenCon I've attended since 1996. While I'd forgotten how much fun the show can be, I'd also forgotten that any gathering of geeks like this also brings out one my biggest pet peeves: the people who really should be barred by law from wearing chainmail bikinis are inevitably the ones most likely to wear them. Fortunately, GenCon also offered a cure for my stress -- an enjoyable period of time spent getting my hands dirty with the PC version of Peter Molyneaux's Xbox hit Fable: The Lost Chapters. I needed the chance to be evil for a while to release my annoyance. This game was just the ticket.
