Strategy Planet has conducted an interview with Andrey Emelyanenko about this nice upcoming fantasy RTS/RPG. Here's a snippit:

Dragon: Can you give us an idea of what kinds of spells to expect from the more than 300 you have available in the game?

Emelyanenko: Basically, there are three types of spells. First, you can summon monsters. Each race has its individual set of monsters, 30 unique creatures per race, all with their special abilities. The other kinds of magic spells are enchantments and sorcery. Charms have prolonged effects upon your creatures, your hero, or your opponent’s army. They may last for one or several turns or for the entire combat unless they are disenchanted by special sorcery. Sorcery spells act instantly and can inflict instant damage to an enemy hero or creature, increase the amount of your battle magic energy, draw magic energy or life from your enemy, and many other things. There are also artifacts – unique spells that are not available in the shops and can be found on the map or looted from the killed enemies.
