In the period shortly thereafter, three diverse realms have emerged as contenders for preeminence. A unique mixture of races and classes populates each of them. Albion is the region in which the legendary city still stands. It is home to four human strains as well as stalwart Half-Ogres and the mysterious, pale Inconnu. Based on Irish Celtic themes, verdant Hibernia lies to the west. Many of the Lurikeen, Elves, Shar and others who dwell there lean toward the magical arts, while Midgard lies to the north, a Norse-themed expanse that often produces hardy warriors among its Dwarves, Kobolds, Trolls, Valkyn et al. |
