PC Gameworld has one, rating the game 92% and coming to this conclusion: On the whole, Arx Fatalis proclaims its quality and professionalism over and over throughout the course of the game. Taking the best of past RPG’s and adding its own clever and unique attributes, this game manages to hold its own against the best of its genre and will delight any RPG fan out there. The second review can be found at Pixelrage. and their rating is considerably lower, with 79/100, due to many bugs they encountered.. Their summary reads like this: The game brings a lot of new ideas and it's very fun to play, but the bugs kill it. It somewhat resembles Heroes IV, whose hasty release left it with an impressing number of bugs. Nevertheless, a future patch could cure that, and Arx Fatalis could prove itself to be a great game after all, even compete for the title of RPG of the year, in my humble opinion.
