Pharao Productions (David Allen's new company after he left Artifact Ent) today announced, that their XBox MMORPG Dominion will be coming to the PC as well:
Pharaoh Productions announces plans for DOMINION release on the PC
David Allen, founder of Pharaoh Productions, announced today that the company plans on developing and releasing a PC version of DOMINION shortly after the initial Xbox release of the product.
"The initial release of DOMINION will be for the Xbox – we then plan on releasing a PC version of the game that has all of the same gameplay features of the Xbox version within 3-6 months of the Xbox release," David stated. "It is very important for us to support both types of platforms, but we wanted to focus the initial design and release of DOMINION towards the Xbox so that we could take advantage of the great features that the Xbox offers to the gaming community. We will then take the Xbox version and port it over to the PC, which will allow users to take advantage of all the high-end graphic cards that are available to the PC market."
David continued, "We’re very excited about this decision. It is our goal for Xbox and PC players to be able to play together online, and not be able to tell the difference as to which platform the other users are on. Of course there will be some minor differences in the client based on the platform, but it is my opinion that this is the future of gaming – gaming systems that can bring multi-platform clients together through the use of the internet."
DOMINION, an upcoming action-based multi-player RPG, is being developed by Pharaoh Productions, which is located in Lafayette, Colorado. |
