A rating of "A" is the result of a review of Morrowind at Gaming Horizon. Here's why they think this high rating is justified:
Morrowind has excellent graphics, gameplay, and immersion that can be enjoyed to the fullest with a few tweaks, a little foreknowledge, and enough willpower to resist becoming all-powerful (unless of course that’s what you want). This is another one of those great games that has kept me awake all night, causing me to forget about food and human contact, but it isn’t perfect. The problems it has can be avoided but it would be better if I didn’t have to avoid them at all. Fortunately the pros far outweigh the cons and with the Construction Set the game has a long life. If you pass up Morrowind, you are passing up a great game and perhaps the greatest RPG for the PC thus far.
