Loadedinc has umm.. loaded up a preview of RapidEye's/SOE's 'EverQuest' based RTS 'Lords of EverQuest'.

Here's a clip:
Lords of EverQuest will allow players to play the game with three different factions (Shadowrealm, the Elddar Alliance and the Dawn Brotherhood), each of which have many familiar characters, races and classes from the RPG series. One of the nice things about the units you’ll create is that each of them can level as they gain experience from killing creeps and enemy players. This makes armies stronger and harder to kill as the game progresses as you can carry over units from mission to mission, given their survival. As per any real time strategy game, there’s resource gathering and I found that the game really didn’t focus on that aspect unlike other similar games my keeping the resources limited to a single type . This was a refreshing change because I like to get right to the killing and destroying. Units appear to be cheap to buy, as are buildings, which makes creating an army a quick and simple task allowing you to concentrate on the strategy as well as controlling the mass chaos that is sure to ensue with the many units and Lord characters.
