And while we are talking about DAoC - they sent us word that the open beta subscription for Europe is starting now, and some other infobits:

Some informations on what's going to happen in the next few days.

    Closed beta expansion :

New accounts will be sent tomorrow to increase the number of simultaneous players on Excalibur, as we don't have more than 1,000 players at peak hours.

    Open beta :

Everybody who hasn't registered for the restricted beta can register on the official website, in the Register section. The first account will be sent in the coming days. The Open phase will begin at the end of next week. 10,000 accounts will be given to start with. Then, we will open new ones twice a week so we can test the servers with an optimum number of players.

    New servers :

We've schedulded to open Brocéliande, the first french server with the Open phase. The german server, Avalon will follow quickly. Note that the opening of theses servers doesn't mean the game will be entirely translated at that moment. The translations will be integrated bit by bit during the beta.

    New forums :

With Open phase, the amount of players will grow quickly, so we will change our boards. The beta private boards will disappear and we will have instead boards « per server » and « per realm ».

    FAQ / Support :

The solution we will use for Customer Support and FAQ is « Right Now ! ». A new version has just been released and that delayed its appearance on the website. Right Now will allow everybody to get answers more easily. All bug reports will be done through Right Now as soon as it is available.
