Blue Monday has conducted an interview with Peter Nagy, development leader of Cult, an interesting Isometric RPG by 3D People:

Could you tell us a little about the background story of Cult?

The game takes place in the world where gods are not very popular and well known. They have left the world of Cult. The people judge the gods and their priests.
The player comes with one of his mentors from a journey to his home – temple. When they are nearby, the temple becomes destroyed by the unknown power. They try to get to the temple as soon as possible to help, but when they enter the gate there are only dead monks and a few unknown monsters around. The whole temple is razed and strong piece of artifact that was hidden underground is missing. The only who survived from the order is your character and your mentor. You have to start looking for the fate of the rest pieces. Here starts the story and the game.
