Firstly, the story, world, and art are not like anything that we've seen from the genre as of yet. The story is actually a pretty bleak one. There are no namby pamby elves running around like pansies at a costume ball tucking their penises away screaming like cats in heat, no stumpy little dwarves with a height complex and women so furry they make Italians look like hairless rats, and no orcs all pissed about the fact that they were born to look like pig vomit meaning they will never bed a hot 20 something girl so fine she could make a grown man cry. Nope, just humans. Well, humans and the slavers that have kept them in chains. Oh, and the monsters roaming the land trying to eat, either for nutrition or fun, all of the humans they can get they're slimy mouths around.
