Not to be left behind, Gamespot UK also has a review of Dungeon Siege for you. It's a different review than the one at the USA version of Gamespot, but it has exactly the same rating of 8.4. Here's there wrap-up:
Dungeon Siege is a big game and its freeform nature will allow players to develop their characters however they like. Novices will get a lot out of it, while experienced players will get even more - but it's certainly not as deep, RPG-wise, as Diablo II, never mind Baldur's Gate, and you should bear this in mind if you're likely to be making comparisons. That said, it's an innovative, fun and involving action romp through the most beautiful RPG landscape yet.
