Warcry's Whitney "Teleios" Butts brings us this preview for Microids' newest adventure, Still Life...

Game play is where it gets interesting. Movement is traditional point and click, however the puzzles are amazingly fun. Traditionally adventure games contain obscure puzzles that make no sense, but Still Life disguises these by making the player hunt for evidence, piece together evidence and find connections in the crimes. It is still the original wild goose chase of adventure games, but very well hidden with unique ideas that flow smoothly. The puzzles consist of taking pictures, getting samples, and analyzing evidence; not trying to put locks in certain orders or ordering arrays of swirly diagrams.

For a preview, it’s solid. I’d say that this game has a very good premise, some unique story and content ideas, and decent graphics. If you like adventure games, and can handle mature content, check it out. Happy crime fighting.
