Hello again, blog readers. Not long ago I returned from a little trip abroad. Actually, the trip wasn't so little; in fact, it was the longest plane ride I've ever endured. A giant aircraft flew me and a handful of colleagues across the vast Pacific Ocean to a place I never expected to see in person: Beijing, China.

Why would an intrepid band of SOE employees travel all that way? To attend the first-ever China Joy gaming show. There were gaming companies from all over the world participating, particularly from the Asian market. Though not as large as E3, it was nonetheless an impressive show that was well received by the public. Loud music, dancers, people dressed up in costumes, and giant screens showing the latest software... all the stuff necessary for a gamer's paradise.
