An interview with Lead Designer Todd Howard, responsible for Bethesda's highly acclaimed RPG Morrowind, has been posted at Gamespy. Todd talks about himself, the game and the XBox version. Here's a snippet that indicates that The XBox version can also handle plugins:
GameSpy: Have you thought about putting the best one's on disc for Xbox users? How would you deliver them?
Todd Howard: There's been some talk of that. It'd probably be one's [mods] we've created. We actually built the Xbox version to accept them automatically, so it's mainly a matter of getting them on the Xbox hard-drive. Maybe [it'll happen as] a magazine cover disc or through the Xbox Live service. Another interesting thing in the interview is that there are features in the full version that are just "turned off" because they are too slow even for today's high end systems - but they can be turned on at any time with a later patch... |
