Next to corner the good Drs. Muzyka and Zeschuk from BioWare about their licensing of Epic's Unreal Engine 3:
IGNPC: Given other impressive engines like Valve's Source and id's DOOM 3 technology, what drew BioWare to Unreal Engine 3 above the others?

Ray Muzyka: We carefully researched the many available engines and Epic's engine is perfect for the specific game that we're using it for. Epic has wanted to work with BioWare for a long time and we have great respect for them as well, and it was just a question of finding the perfect fit title for us to license their technology. That game which we're using Unreal Engine 3 for is still an RPG but it's got some features which are ideally suited to the Unreal Engine 3 -- I can't say anything more about that yet though! [more]
