Just when I thought "ok, nothing new, go to bed again", gaminggroove came up with a newsbit that House of Spank has a development update for GoldenLands, sent to them by international PR manager Irina. This is about half of it:
The part of engine which is responsible for character’s moving was improved. One of the main innovations is the removing of usual squared fragmentation during the walking. It’s rather uncommon for turn-based games and it allows players to take the absolutely new position concerning the battle realization, which gives more freedom. There were not those possibilities earlier in the turn-based games. It allows also developing the new strategy of the action scores assessment in the battle and to plan the battles more thoroughly and carefully, as a result, all battles become more interesting and dynamical.
They cater 4 screenshots, too, but they are those that were published by Tiscali a tad earlier story).

UPDATE: The link to the feature was removed because House'o'Spank is no more. The original link now leads to a porn site.
