Ok here is the first review I've seen for Morrowind so far and it's a favorable one. Gamezone.de has given Morrowind a 9.1/10 and a GameZone Silver Award. It's a pretty short review. Here is their conclusion:
Grafisch ist Morrowind ein Meilenstein, gerade in Bezug auf Rollenspiele. Die riesige Welt, mit all ihren Monstern, Gegenständen und Quests, von der man einfach nicht genug bekommen kann, verursachte zumindest bei unserem Test einige schlaflose Nächte voller Faszination. Die Freiheit, die einem dieses Spiel bietet, ist nahezu einzigartig und sorgt für weit mehr als 100 Spielstunden. Wie gesagt: Rollenspieler sollten sich schon mal Urlaub nehmen, denn Morrowind ist ein echtes Suchtspiel!

Morrowind a milestone, straight is graphic regarding games of roles. The enormous world, with all their monsters, articles and Quests, from which one cannot get simply enough, caused at least with our test some sleepless nights of full fascination. The liberty, which offers this play, is almost singular and ensures for far more than 100 play hours. As said: Role players should take themselves already times vacation, because Morrowind is a genuine craze play!
I think that the big batch of detailed reviews for Morrowind will be a week or two in coming because of the enormous scope of the game. I know myself that it will be a while before I write a full review although I may write a first impressions this week if I have time between work and Morrowind and trying to moderate our Morrowind forums here :) |
