The second part of the interview with Sarah Boulian about the Dungeon Siege engine is online now at Gamespy. Here's something tasty about the editor:

GameSpy: What all is going to be included in the Siege editor's "suite" of tools? What do you think is the most interesting feature on the editor?
Sarah Boulian: The Siege editor, will of course be released, as well as a handful of other tools required to create new art assets for Dungeon Siege. There are so many features I love! I love that we even have an editor to begin with! I'm so accustomed to all of the amazing features SE offers, I tend to take them for granted. For example, the Siege editor has debug HUDs, node door labeling, and other features that make our lives tons easier, since simply clicking a button shows us all sorts of useful information like connections between objects and/or nodes. Or there's the "Next Object" feature, which allows me to choose rotation and scale ranges so every object I place is randomly rotated or scaled within my parameters -- great for creating a dense forest!
