The Adrenaline Vault's BoB Mandel has a review on Syberia II...he awards a 3 1/2 stars out of 5...

In the end, Syberia II is a fine game, with higher production values than most virtual adventure releases, but nonetheless is a decided notch below its stunning predecessor. The graphics and music are still great, showing great polish and attention to detail, but the story and gameplay are a bit of a letdown. What is missing here is the diversity and twists and turns, as well as the mystery, complexity, and enchantment of the outstanding original. Of course, for the legions of fans of Syberia, this is an absolute must-buy to discover the end of the intriguing story. However, for those without this experience, or without a penchant for this kind of adventure action, this offering may not be as mandatory.
