Andrew 'Teppy' Tepper (aka Pharaoh) sent the following newsletter on an Amnesty program over:Citizens of Egypt,
I'll have a more complete newsletter in a few days, announcing the
start of A Tale in the Desert II.
Right now, I'd like to announce a special event for everyone that
was a part of the original Tale in the Desert:
Amnesty: Monday, 8/30/2004, 6:00PM EDT (GMT-0500)
Amnesty is a time when everyone is welcomed back to the Tale 1
server for one final celebration, a chance to gaze one last time on
all that this civilization has achieved. All accounts will be
reactivated during this event (free, no credit card needed.) During
Amnesty, the tradition is for everyone to spill any dirty secrets
from the past. Want to know who Mafia's owner's other character is?
Perhaps we can persuade the owner to step forward. Maybe we'll get
to hear some of Crossroads' stories. Who *did* play Khepry anyway?
Want to know what was written in that secret text on our website?
What was the deal with the "Strange Rocks" across Egypt? Want to
know which of ATITD's array of complex "systems", like wine making,
cooking, ecology, alchemy I consider a success? A failure?
There's one catch. To participate in Amnesty, you must agree to
hold no grudges, and must take any personal slight in the spirit of
roleplay. I can't wait to see everyone back in Tale 1, one last time.
On the Nile,
Teppy
PS: A Tale in the Desert II is almost ready for launch. I'll have
another newsletter with that announcement in a few days. Head here for the official site. |
