Head over to Boomtown for a review of the Xbox version of 'Thief: Deadly Shadows'. Score - 8/10:
Good 'ole Garret is back. For the uninitiated, he’s the master thief who pioneered the Stealth Action genre back in the first Thief game, which subsequently inspired games like Splinter Cell and Hitman. He’s also the man who showed us how it was possible to use a water balloon as an arrowhead, in order to put out torches, so we could commit our devious acts of thievery in the dark.
A second review can be found at DailyGame, also with a score of 8/10:
For those familiar with the Thief games, you'll feel right at home since once again you assume the role of Garrett (the main character from Thief: The Dark Project and Thief II.) This time around, though, you can switch to a third-person camera which allows you to not only see Garret, but also makes it much easier to see around corners.
