has rated the following games:
|
Bard's Tale 1 - Tales from the Unknown: 6/10 points |
Game had good graphics for its time. Brings back memories, but not all good. Hated repititous combat, and slow text along with it. Story was adequate, but not great. The feeling of immersiveness was almost there, but the game was lacking something that some of the better games of that time had. |
Champions Of Krynn: 5/10 points |
I liked the gold box series...to begin with. But not enough innovation to keep the same game engine interesting for me. The story is decent, graphics are mediocre (even for the time), but gameplay was beginning to become tiring by the time this game was released. |
Dark Sun 1 - Shattered Lands: 3/10 points |
This game, while playable, did not help to make the CRPG drought any better. Too buggy, and just not that easy to get engaged into to. |
Darklands: 4/10 points |
Played better, seen worse. I just didn't care for the game myself...hence the low score. |
Exile 2: Crystal Souls: 5/10 points |
Not bad, the story keeps the game from being rated lower. Did NOT like the quality of graphics. Overall, won't be playing this one again. |
Freedom Force: 10/10 points |
Finally, the super hero game curse is broken! And what a game to break it. ALthough, the RPG aspect is slim, the game has a great comic book superhero atmosphere. Multiplayer mode could be a little better, but the campaign mode more than makes up for it. And the character creation tool is one of the most advanced around! Once mods start coming out, the game will only continue to get better and better! |
Jagged Alliance 2: 6/10 points |
Too hard. Was hoping for some much more in this game than it actually was. JA1 is a better balanced game, and just more fun. This game almost seemed like work. |
Lineage - The Bloodpledge: 1/10 points |
With everthing else that is out there in this day and age, this game brings nothing to the table. It just isn't very fun to play. |
Pool of Radiance - Ruins of Myth Drannor: 1/10 points |
Huge Disapointment! The game was too buggy, interface sucked, and all around just sucked! It had potential, but they dashed it into the ground within the first five minutes of gameplay. |
Pools of Darkness: 7/10 points |
This game was a milestone in CRPG's, but there are better ones in the gold box series. |
System Shock 2: 8/10 points |
A game that should be on everyone's played list. Good in all sense of the word. |
Unlimited Adventures: 5/10 points |
Easy to use, but by the time this came out, the gameplay had been done too much! |
